Designed for slower living, this Salt Spring Island retreat is a considered escape for a city-based couple. The interiors are quiet and uncluttered, allowing the surrounding landscape to remain the focus.

The home office was conceived as an integrated part of the living space, with a custom designed floating oak desk defined by minimal lines and positioned to span the valley view, allowing the client to work immersed in the landscape.

Furniture and art were carefully sourced to bring warmth, texture and a sense of permanence to the space. Moss-green velvet, natural oak and simple sculptural forms create a tactile, restrained palette—comfortable and inviting, but intentionally free of visual clutter.
